Laura Hervert Relationship Manager
What I Do at Advance Partners: After almost 20 years on our Full Service team, I moved over to Client Experience in the role of Relationship Manager in March, 2022. It was a perfect fit for me to continue my drive to help staffing firms grow. Prior to Advance Partners, I worked for a staffing firm. That experience helped me understand the ins, outs and struggles that many of our clients face. In my current role, I’m helping with strategic questions they may have along with checking to see how they are doing. A strong relationship with our clients is KEY to a successful partnership and I love being a part of fostering that
A Little About Me: I’ve lived in NE Ohio my whole life and truly enjoy all the seasons while living here. My husband of 25 years and I take an anniversary trip every year in October. It often includes a road trip to enjoy the beauty of the fall leaves, along with some October postseason baseball if we are lucky! I love baseball and we have a family tradition of going to Opening Day for the Cleveland Guardians every year. As empty nesters, we love spending time with our adult children (and their fur babies) in Baltimore MD and Columbus OH. Go Bucks! In my free time, I enjoy cooking and listening to podcasts and books.
Angela Brugman Manager, Quality Control and Tax
What I Do at Advance Partners: I’m the Manager of the Full Service Tax team and Quality Control team that support both sides of our business. I have been with Advance since 2002 (Celebrating 21 years this year!) and started out as a CSR in Full Service. In my current role I get to interact with a lot of different teams throughout the company and partner with them on different process improvements or any research/problem solving in different areas. My favorite part of my position is that I get to learn something new every day from working with so many different people. I truly have a passion for this company and love the family feel of Advance!
A Little About Me: I love traveling and visiting new places (mostly places near a beach with palm trees!). When I’m not working I am spending time with my family or friends. I have a very close group of friends that often does weekend get aways visiting different places. I have two fur babies that I absolutely LOVE! During the summer months I love to do motorcycle riding with my boyfriend & friends and can most often be found at the pool or beach when not out riding.
