Stephanie Zakariasen Supervisor, Customer Service
What I Do at Advance Partners: I’ve been with Advance for over 11 years, with almost six years in my current role of FS Customer Service Supervisor. I started in invoicing and worked my way up through the department, from payroll to CSR to supervisor. I love problem solving and doing the research to figure things out, and this role offers a lot of opportunity for that. I like to focus on the Paychex values of Partnership and Service, as we have an amazing team that’s always willing to work collaboratively to solve problems. I enjoy working with my clients, building relationships and trust, and being a solid partner they can count on!
A Little About Me: I love traveling and have lived in or visited over 20 countries. I spent four years living in Europe, most of it in France and loved my time there. The food, architecture, art and languages are all very appealing to me, but ultimately there’s nothing like home! I came back to the US a few years before moving to Cleveland. My family origins are Scandinavian, so our two most recent international trips were to Norway and Iceland, which both have amazing natural scenery between the glaciers, waterfalls, lagoons, and fjords. Five years ago I got married and had twins, so I now have two 3.5 year-olds running around and talking up a storm, which keeps me and my husband pretty busy. I also love cooking, trying out new recipes I find online, and reading whenever I have the chance.

What I Do at Advance Partners: I currently oversee our Service team, which supports both the Full Service and Funding Services sides of the business. This team is responsible for the Implementation, Invoicing, Quality Control, Tax, Funding Reconciliation, Payroll support, and Funding support functions. I have been with Advance for three years and spent the prior 10 years with Paychex. Joining Advance Partners has been a highlight of my career! Not only am I passionate about what I do and the family of amazing people I get to work with, but I’m also very passionate about our mission and the partnerships we have with our clients.
A Little About Me: I love spending as much time with my family as I can! I have an amazingly supportive husband of 5 years, a beautiful 2-year old daughter, and a 5-yr old Australian Shepherd. We love to travel, visit family and friends in different states, attend Cavs, Guardians and Browns games, and go to concerts/see comedians. During the warmer months, I spend as much time outside as possible and love paddle boarding and going for runs along Lake Erie. We also try to visit our alma mater, William & Mary, at least once a year – GO TRIBE!
