Irena Celan Accounting Coordinator
What I Do at Advance Partners: I am an Accounting Coordinator at Advance Partners working closely with our cash team. I have been with Advance in total 8+ years. Starting my internship in the Accounts Payable department, I then moved over to the Cash department and was Cash Manager. I then took a two year hiatus as I moved to Canada, that’s when an opportunity came along to work for Advance again and I have been back since! In my current role I reconcile our Accounts Receivable which gets me exposed to both sides of the business, Full Service and Funding. I love what I do and that it keeps me challenged every day. My favorite part about working at Advance is that even after so many years I still learn something new daily, and get to work with amazing people!
A Little About Me: I was born in Croatia and moved to Cleveland when I was 11 years old. Finishing up my education in Cleveland I then got married to a Canadian and moved to Toronto! Our beautiful daughter is 3 years old and keeps us on our toes! We enjoy making trips to Cleveland whenever we can to visit family (only a short 4 hour drive). I love to travel! Santorini, Greece will always have my heart! When I do have free time I enjoy long walks and playdates at the park with my family.

What I Do at Advance Partners: In my 6 years on the marketing team, I have led our website and brand refresh, coordinated our presence at industry tradeshows, and assisted the sales team with various projects. I am passionate about finding new and creative ways to help our clients grow and love to collaborate on innovative projects with my team. One of my favorite parts about working at AP is the leadership here. I always feel supported and encouraged to run with an idea! My team is my other favorite part about working here. While there are only three of us, we work together to get a lot done. From direct mail ideas, to social media and content writing, we are always thinking of new ways to stay top of mind. The support system here at Advance is truly unmatched!
A Little About Me: Born and raised in Los Angeles, I moved to Cleveland at age 17 to attend John Carroll University. Upon graduating, I met my husband and we moved to Dallas in 2019. We welcomed our daughter in 2022 and she has since kept us very busy! When I am not working, I love to spend time with my family, walk my dogs, go to the gym and work in the yard.
